Rights Management (DRM)
Virtue is committed to protecting any sensitive or proprietary
information that you are broadcasting from piracy. We
are licensed to use the following DRM technologies to
secure your broadcasts:
1. Windows Media Rights Management
Widely acknowledged as the leading industry standard for
protecting digital music files, this DRM technology controls
the number of times a music track is played and the way
it is used, for instance, whether it can be burned to
CD or exported to a trusted player.
2. Macrovision
SAFECAST™
SAFECAST™ is a comprehensive security solution used
in particular to protect the rights of software and games
when distributed and where appropriate, enforce payment
before the software or game can be used.
3. FileOpen
FileOpen secures Adobe pdf documents containing sensitive
images and information. This solution ensures that pdfs
are not edited and redistributed indiscriminately.
Encoding
Virtue offers state of the art digitisation and encoding
facilities to convert your video/audio content in a physical
format such as CDs, tapes etc, into a digital format.
Once digitised, the content can be transcoded to your
required streaming format (Windows Media, Real, Quicktime).
Virtue is able to deliver a high quality service for you
whether it is for a quick turnaround of an archive clip
or whether you require a technician on-site with live
encoding equipment.
Virtue has technical staff based around the world and
is able to provide comprehensive global coverage.
'Live' & On Demand Streaming
With expertise managing 'live' and on demand streaming
for a large variety of clients and events, Virtue has
a global redundant network and system to support your
'live' and on demand streaming requirements.
We have a robust, scalable 'live' broadcast system to
deliver the reliability and reporting required when managing
large volume of streams over a large number of streaming
