Ltd, Europe's leading Internet broadcaster, today announced
that it has been chosen by Carlton Interactive to
deliver the live and on demand streaming for ITV's groundbreaking

broadcast on Tuesday evening, ITV will run live webcasts
twice a week immediately following each television broadcast.
During the webcast, ousted contestants will be interviewed
live and will answer questions submitted by viewers. Additional
features include an on-demand pay per view version of the
live interview the following day, as well as unseen footage
of Survivor participants on the website.
Commenting on the agreement, Paul Hodgins
CEO of virtuebroadcasting said: "We are delighted to be
working with one of the most anticipated TV shows of the
year. The increasing occurrence of major web events such
as Survivor demonstrates the popularity and demand for quality
video content over the Internet. It is the availability
and demand for quality content, which will be the driving
force behind broadband over the coming years. Our recent
partnership with Interoute to roll out the highest capacity
streaming network in Europe will ensure that these events
are delivered with the highest possible quality."
Kirsty Marron, Managing Director
of Carlton.com, comments: "virtuebroadcasting is the leading
provider of Internet broadcasting services in Europe which
is why they are providing the streaming for one of our biggest
projects this year. We are very excited about giving millions
of viewers the opportunity to interact live with the Survivor
cast members after every show."
